New: Now you have a listing of banjo teachers on BANJOREE. It's a beginning of a growing list. And our next project: A forum. As soon as we have solved some technical questions it will go onlline. On and off people are asking us where to buy which instrument. In the first place we always recommend our partners from the BANJOREE events. In 1989 Tom Nechville revolutionized the world of banjo-luthery with a radically new design of banjos. Instead of the conventional construction with dozens of hard to reach tension hooks he developed the "Helimount" design where you simply have two wrenches to quickly adjust the tension of the banjo head. Without being confronted with the task to adjust 24 hooks evenly. Now you can easily change your sound from crystal clear bluegrass to a smooth jazzy sound depending on your taste. And moreover you can adjust the banjo neck with a simple Allen key without the need to set the coordinator rods under unwanted tension, without using adjustment shims or even doing serious woodwork. Nechville offers 5-String Resonator, 5-String Open Back and 5-String electric Banjos. All instruments are also available in a 4-String and a 6-String setting.
