Owner and founder of www.AcoustiCity.de since 1996. Got addicted to the 5-strig banjo in 1975, learnt Clawhammer with the help of the red Pete Seeger book and a record of Art Rosenbaum, turned to 3-finger styles 3 years later to play in the bluegrass band "Red Hot Grass". After that many other musical projects from traditional to experimental, but leans more towards contemporary music. Gives banjo lessons since 1980. Plays regularly in the band "Twilight Farm" since 1999. Founder of EL BIZARRE, the german chapter the 'International Merrywang Society' |

Traditions of Folk Songs in the Southern Appalachians. Played Banjo with the band 'Stringtime' and now plays with 'vier minus' and 'Duellin' Banjos', started off with Bluegrass and later changed over to the Oldtime camp. Several stays in the USA. |
